Conditions de travail, recrutements : Les agents de l’administration du commerce réclament des actes concrets
The National Union of Trade Administration Agents (SYNACOM) held its General Assembly this Friday at the CNTS headquarters. On this occasion, its Secretary General, Ibrahima Ngom, painted a worrying picture of the situation of agents in the trade department.
According to him, despite the filing of a list of demands nearly two years ago, the concerns of the staff remain unanswered. SYNACOM denounces, in particular, a lack of consideration for the staff, the persistent job insecurity of temporary employees, and dysfunctions in the department's management.
The union is also demanding the integration of temporary agents, the reorganization of the trade administration, the signing of certain implementing texts related to the law on prices and consumer protection, as well as an improvement in working conditions, marked by the obsolescence of many administrative buildings.
Despite these difficulties, Ibrahima Ngom recalled the crucial role of trade agents in market stability and protecting the purchasing power of the population.
He finally called on workers to unite and show solidarity, while affirming that SYNACOM remains open to dialogue with the authorities while reserving the right to implement its action plan to defend the interests of the agents.
