DER/FJ : 53 agents de Nano Crédit dénoncent la rupture brutale de leur contrat

53 Nano Crédit workers, recruited by the Employment Directorate under the "Kheyou Ndaw yi" program and placed at the disposal of the General Delegation for Rapid Employment of Women and Youth (DER/FJ), are sounding the alarm.

After four years of service, they have just received notification terminating their contract effective September 30, 2025.

According to the coordinator of the interministerial collective of Senegalese administration agents and spokesperson for Nano Credit agents, Omar Dramé, the reason given is that "the Employment Directorate no longer has the budget to be able to continue paying them."

Faced with this situation, the agents denounce the silence of the DER/FJ which, according to them, "has so far not provided any space to allow these workers to continue working."

These workers are therefore calling on the highest authorities to find a solution. "We call on the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Vocational Training and Employment, and the General Delegate of the DER/FJ to find immediate solutions to keep these brave women and men employed," said the coordinator of the said collective.

The role of these agents was to "rigorously monitor the funding granted by the DER/FJ to women's and men's groups throughout Senegal."

The spokesperson for the Nano Credit agents recalls that "these agents, for four long years, have been working with tenacity, commitment, and determination, in extremely difficult conditions, with low pay."
