"Diaspora Bond" : Les nouvelles "rassurantes" de l’arrangeur sur le niveau des souscriptions
Since September 22, the Senegalese government has launched its third public offering of bonds (APE3), which some are calling Diaspora Bonds. The operation is expected to close in four days, unless it is extended. Yesterday, Sunday, two weeks after the launch of subscriptions, the lead arranger provided some updates on the momentum.
"As long as the operation is ongoing, we cannot make any announcements. That's why I cannot give the current figure. However, what would make the operation successful is if we significantly exceed the amount sought. And that's what is being done," explained Ababacar Diaw, the administrator and CEO of Impaxis Securities, during a special Live broadcast organized for this purpose.
The arranger revealed that investors from both the country and the region, both institutional and individual investors, the diaspora and nationals, have responded to the call. "If everything comes to fruition, I think that in the remaining days, I'm not even talking about reaching the target, but we will exceed the amount sought," added Mr. Diaw.
He reports that during their first live chat with the diaspora (Saturday, September 27, 2025), a rush of subscriptions was noted that day and during the 72 hours that followed. "The peak was quite high, then it started to decline. So now we have to close the loop, try to finish in style," he invites.

Les fonds tirés de la suppression du conseil économique et social a permis la création de nouveaux postes budgetaires portant sur le paiement de salaires de 1000 enseignants ayant été recrutés .Il faut vous informer avant d'émettre des critiques
