Tournée économique du président de la République : "Une occasion en or" pour le Plan Diomaye pour la Casamance qui est à un taux d'exécution de 46 % (DG ANRAC)
"The President's tour is a golden opportunity to inject significant funds into Casamance, within the framework of the Diomaye Plan for Casamance (PDC)." This is the conviction of the Director General of the National Agency for the Revival of Economic and Social Activities in Casamance (ANRAC).
Iba Sané, who indicates that the PDC is at 46% execution, informs of the development of a document to better harmonize actions with all projects and programs involved in the Diomaye Plan for Casamance, for the benefit of populations returning to their respective localities.
"The Diomaye Plan for Casamance is at a 46% implementation rate. For something that has already started, I wouldn't say October 2024, but I would say January. As early as October 8, 2024, with the holding of the special interministerial council dedicated to the return of displaced persons in Casamance on November 29, funding had to be stopped. In 2025, we started at a slow pace because the budgets and the PTBs (Project Technical Budgets) had not yet been validated. In March, we started and in June, we were at a rate of 30-31% for the three regions. In November, we reached 46%," explained the Director General of ANRAC.
With the Head of State's tour, advocacy remains the extension and implementation of the PDC until the time horizon of 2027.
