Somisen : le salaire de Ngagne Demba Touré révélé
In compliance with the transparency requirements of the OHADA Uniform Act, the Senegalese Mining Company (Somisen SA) has published its compensation statement for its top management for the past fiscal year. The document, signed on February 6, reveals the salaries of the company's highest-paid executives.
According to Le Quotidien in its Wednesday, April 15th edition, the total gross compensation allocated to the five highest-ranking officials amounts to 107,364,456 FCFA. At the top of this list is the Director General, Ngagne Demba Touré, whose annual salary reaches 30,370,073 FCFA, or approximately 2.5 million FCFA per month, representing nearly 28% of the total payroll of this "Top 5".
Behind him, the other members of the management team have gross annual salaries ranging from 15 to 21 million FCFA. The former administrative and financial director receives 21,551,092 FCFA, followed by the technical advisor with 20,993,611 FCFA. The assistant to the managing director earns 18,609,180 FCFA, while the director of portfolio and partnerships brings up the rear with 15,840,500 FCFA, according to the Avenir Communication group's daily newspaper.
