BFEM in Kaolack: 7,755 candidates competing

The Brevet de fin d'études moyennes (BFEM) exams began on July 14th across the country. In Kaolack , a delegation from the Ministry of National Education, led by the governor, visited several exam centers, including Kahone 2 school , the Franco-Arab school (EFA) in Sam, and the CEM Djim Momar Guèye , to observe the start of the exams.

For this session , there are 7,755 candidates across the two IEFs (Inspectorates of Education and Training) of Kaolack-commune and department. Only one absence is reported at the Kahone 2 school (one official candidate).

According to Amadou Dia , education and training inspector for the Kaolack municipality , "Everywhere we went, there were only minor problems, and I must also point out that , in addition to this delegation led by the prefect, others are deployed throughout the department and the municipality. The information we are receiving confirms that the exams are proceeding smoothly, and we dare to hope that, in the end , the results will meet expectations."

Statistically , girls outnumber boys. This trend is easily understood because if you take 100 girls entering primary school (CI) , by the end of the cycle (CM2), you'll end up with 75 girls. This is a national issue that falls not only under the purview of the Ministry of National Education , but also other departments, such as the Ministry of Territorial Communities, regarding the availability of civil registration documents. "We will, along with the town hall, the courts, the Ministry of National Education, and the relevant services, combine our efforts to ensure this issue is definitively addressed so that our children can receive their birth certificates on time," he promised.
