CFEE 2026 : lancement du premier essai national sous le signe de la Refondation
The Ministry of National Education launched the first-ever national trial of the Elementary School Leaving Certificate (CFEE) this Monday. This key step in the reform of the Senegalese school system comes at a particularly significant time, marked by the elimination of the entrance exam for sixth grade.
This trial aims to modernize the assessment system and prepare all stakeholders for the progressive digitalization of examination-related processes.
A national mobilization
For this session, 305,974 candidates are registered nationwide, 5,089 more than last year. Among them are 173,970 girls. The exams are taking place in 2,080 centers across the country.
On-site supervision
The Secretary General of the Ministry of National Education, accompanied by the Director of Examinations and Competitions, the Inspector of the Academy of Dakar and the Inspector of Education and Training of Dakar-Plateau, carried out a supervisory visit to several centers in the capital.
At the end of this tour, he expressed his satisfaction with the arrangements made to ensure the optimal running of the events.
ANADOLE, the major innovation
The key innovation of this session remains the use of the ANADOLE platform, which will now allow results to be available within ten days. A significant step forward in the digitalization of national examinations.
An evaluation of the new format and student performance is planned as soon as this trial is completed, in order to identify any shortcomings and, if necessary, to make educational adjustments before the national exam.
