Kédougou : Le CUSEMS et le SAEMSS exigent le paiement des indemnités du BFEM et du Baccalauréat 2025
The local sections of the Unified Union Framework of Secondary School Teachers (CUSEMS) and the Autonomous Union of Secondary School Teachers of Senegal (SAEMSS) in Kédougou announced this weekend a strong action plan to denounce the delay in the payment of allowances related to the BFEM and Baccalaureate 2025 exams.
According to the two trade unions, these delays, which have become recurrent, undermine the professional dignity of the teachers who, each year, ensure the organization and supervision of the national examinations.
Faced with the lack of a satisfactory response, CUSEMS and SAEMSS say they were "forced" to take action.
The first movement will take place as early as Tuesday, December 2nd.
As part of this protest plan, the unions are announcing a work stoppage on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. Following this initial action, a union delegation will participate in a broadcast on RTS (Swiss Radio and Television) to explain to the public the reasons for their mobilization and the issues related to the payment of compensation.
A total strike is planned for Wednesday, December 3rd.
Seeing no concrete progress, the two unions are also planning a total strike day on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
This second phase aims to increase pressure in order to quickly obtain effective support for the demands.
The unions are calling for the state to take responsibility.
The CUSEMS and SAEMSS reiterate that examination allowances are a right, not a favor. They urge the State to honor its commitments to teachers to avoid the accumulation of unnecessary tensions in an already fragile sector.
Trade union organizations in Kédougou say they remain open to dialogue, but affirm that no other alternative will be excluded if the situation continues.

Il est temps que sonko s'inspire du Québec il faut foutre une convention collective de 5 ans à ces mercenaires d'enseignants la correction des examens ne doit pas être payé il est inclus dans le salaire immérité de ces bouffons
D'accord pour la correction. Et les déplacements ? Quelqu'un qutte dakar pour ziguinchor pendant 15 jours, qui va prendre en charge ce déplacements et ses frais d'hébergement ?
