KOLDA: 7705 candidats cherchent le certificat de fin d'etudes élémentaires
In the Kolda department, 7,705 candidates are officially registered to take the Elementary School Leaving Certificate (CFEE) exam. For this 2026 session, 4,102 girls are enrolled in this exam to obtain the first diploma in the Senegalese education system.
These 7705 candidates are distributed across 60 examination centers, overseen by the Inspectorate of Education and Training (IEF) of Kolda.
With the elimination of the entrance exam for 6th grade, admission to the CFEE opens the doors to middle school for successful candidates. With this new system, exams are graded on-site, and results are also given on-site.
Summoned in sufficient numbers, primary school teachers have ten full days to carry out this task. In these various examination centers, the tests, which began this Wednesday, are proceeding smoothly, with the presence of defense and security forces on site.
