Kolda : Les premiers résultats du bac technique sont satisfaisants
134 students passed the first round of the technical baccalaureate exam, out of 268 candidates who sat the exams in July 2026 at jury 1645 of the Kolda Technical High School. One hundred and nine candidates are authorized to take the second round of exams.
These initial results are considered satisfactory by education stakeholders in Kolda, who hope to exceed last year's success rate of over 48%.
Despite the technical high school being located more than 3 km from the city centre, the students worked hard to achieve these results.
It should be noted that at the technical high school, all the necessary conditions are not in place to ensure the smooth running of classes. Despite the lack of quality tools and insufficient teaching materials, the headmaster, Babou Faye, and his teachers are making do with what they have and remain resolutely committed to the students' success.
