The teachers in Bignona largely complied with the G7 directive. The evaluation was conducted by the departmental coordination of unions, which includes the most representative unions (CUSEMS, SAEMSS, SELS, UDEN, SNELAS-FC, SIEN, and CUSEMS-A). According to Yancouba Badji, the directive was "very well followed."
The G7 departmental coordinator in Bignona states that the other unions have joined their call. "The unusual aspect this time is that even the unions that are not part of the G7 have agreed to harmonize their action plan and follow that of the G7. That is why all the schools closed today," explained Yancouba Badji.
The G7 demands full payment of Baccalaureate 2025 allowances. The delay in payment of teachers at the Tenghori district high school is the cause of this protest.
