Sédhiou : Les lauréats de la Dictée P.G.L. 2026 en route pour la phase nationale
The PGL 2026 Spelling Bee, organized by the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation, has once again established itself as a major Francophone event, mobilizing millions of students worldwide. In Sédhiou, the process is underway: after preliminary rounds at the school and home-school levels, the regional phase took place earlier this week. This stage allowed for the selection of two representatives from the academy for the national phase.
Under the theme of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), this 2025-2026 edition invites young people to improve their French while exploring the digital world in a responsible and collaborative way. The goal is to combine language proficiency with current technological challenges.
The national winners will have the honor of representing Senegal at the international final scheduled for May 2026. Beyond the spelling competition, this movement aims to enrich students' vocabulary and raise funds to finance educational projects.
