UCAD : Le COUD annonce la réouverture progressive des campus sociaux le 26 février
Following the Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2026, the management of the Dakar University Social Services Center (COUD) announced the gradual reopening of its six student residences to support academic activities. COUD informs students that it will welcome them starting Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The statement specifies that all employees are required to adhere to work schedules. For security reasons, buildings B and F are unavailable. Management also emphasizes that the recommendations from the university conference held on October 26 and 27, 2023, and approved by the COUD Board of Directors on March 9, 2024, will be strictly implemented.
Within this framework, all political activities and all cultural events with ethnic or regionalist connotations are strictly prohibited. All residents are expected to respect the internal regulations, to be understanding, disciplined, and responsible in order to foster a campus of solidarity and total peace.
The note, signed by the director of COUD, Dr. Ndéné Mbodji, concludes by recalling that student satisfaction is at the heart of the institution's priorities.
