UCAK : L'université de Touba obtient l'habilitation à délivrer des diplômes de licences et de masters
Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim University (UCAK) in Touba has reached a historic milestone in its academic development. The institution has received a favorable opinion from the National Quality Assurance Authority (Anaq-sup) regarding its institutional accreditation to award bachelor's and master's degrees, Seneweb learned from Professor Lamine Guèye.
This institutional accreditation represents a significant achievement for the Mouride University, which can now officially award nationally recognized degrees. The announcement was made by the Rector of UCAK in a press release dated December 28, 2025.
Rector Professor Lamine Guèye took this happy opportunity to congratulate the entire UCAK community, including teaching and research staff, administrative, technical and service staff, as well as students. He commended their commitment and dedication, which led to this outstanding result.
On behalf of UCAK, the Rector expressed his thanks to the General Khalif of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, as well as to the President of CCAK (Coordination of Executives of the Association of Khadimes), Serigne Ahmadou Badaviyou Mbacké, for their constant support and prayers.
In his note, the Rector invited all UCAK staff to persevere in this path of excellence in order to approach the future deadlines dedicated to the accreditation of diplomas in the best conditions.
This accreditation marks a decisive turning point for Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim University, which thus consolidates its position in the landscape of Senegalese higher education and affirms its contribution to the training of competent managers in the service of national development.
