UGB : Le CROUS renforce la sécurité du campus social avec un dispositif modernisé
In a dynamic of modernization and continuous improvement of security at Gaston Berger University, the Regional Centre for University Works of Saint-Louis (CROUS) has officially launched a new system aimed at optimizing the control and surveillance of the social campus.
This reinforcement is part of a desire to make the security service more efficient and more visible, in order to ensure rigorous control of visitor movements and to guarantee a secure environment for the entire university community.
To realize this ambition, three strategic checkpoints and fifteen control posts have been installed at various locations on the social campus and in the student villages. These systems, now operational, are under the responsibility of the security service, which will be able to ensure smoother, more responsive, and better-coordinated surveillance.
According to Idrissa Guèye, head of the Environment and Security Division, these improvements are the result of ongoing efforts by the CROUS management. He also informed the university community of all the new mechanisms implemented to enhance the safety and security of students and staff.
The Student Social Commission, for its part, commended this initiative, which contributes to the sustainable improvement of the residents' living conditions. It also encouraged students to fully cooperate with security personnel to ensure the effectiveness of this system and the success of this essential mission.
With this new system, the CROUS aims to establish effective, rigorous, and continuous monitoring throughout the campus. This major step reflects the university authorities' commitment to making UGB a safe, peaceful, and conducive environment for study.

Sanar, je me rappelle, Village E sur le banc djakhlé, les copains mattaient les filles du village B revenant du Restau! A l'époque le petit faux Hibadou Sonko habitait au village A. Moi, j'étais au village D.
C'était la belle époque de l'excellence de l'UGB. Que des mentions au Bac.
Mes respects à toutes ces générations sanaroises surtout à nos anciens qui nous accueillaient comme des frères!
Loin du pays mais c'est là que j'ai appris toutes les bases de l'informatique.

la modernisation des campus universitaires exige la création d' une police universitaire qui veillerait à la securité des biens et personnes. mais exclusivement pour l' université.
Vu ce qui s'est passé à 'l'université de thies, ces mesures ne sont pas suffisantes. Car l'université de st louis est immense et pas de mur de cloture hermetique. Il faut des patrouilles des fds armées toutes les heures. Et des caméras nocturnes un peu partout et poste de controle la nuit.
