UIDT-T : Changement du mode de paiement des bourses
Through a press release, the Student Association of the UFR of Engineering Sciences of the Iba Der Thiam University of Thiès (UIDT-T) was informed that an important change has occurred in the method of payment of scholarships by the State.
From now on, the State will no longer make back payments of scholarships. The new system provides for regular monthly scholarship payments throughout the twelve (12) months of the year.
Therefore, students who expected to receive a lump sum payment equivalent to four (4) or five (5) months of scholarship will no longer receive this amount. Instead, they will receive: 40,000 FCFA corresponding to the monthly scholarship payment, plus 35,000 FCFA for school supplies, for a total of 75,000 FCFA.
The authorities urge all students to take careful note of this change to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. They are available for any further information.
