What explains the urgency of developing the new ONAS Strategic Development Plan for the next 5 years?

Our presence here is explained by the need for ONAS to have a new Strategic Development Plan 2026-2030. We have a plan that ends in 2025. This new plan is justified by two requirements.

The first requirement is that the framework law governing the semi-public sector mandates that all entities within the sector adopt a Strategic Development Plan (SDP). The second requirement is that effective performance depends on a clear vision and relevant guidelines. Therefore, the Board of Directors, the deliberative body, has a duty to ensure that the plan is thoroughly developed before adopting it in session. This is why we worked closely with the General Management to produce a comprehensive document.

Can we therefore say that the PSD (2026-2030) is the new roadmap for ONAS?

The PSD will indeed be our roadmap for the next 5 years. Once the Board has reviewed and adopted it, it will define the main directions of ONAS and will serve as its governance framework.

What is the link between the Strategic Development Plan and the performance contract that binds ONAS to the State?

The performance contract that will bind us to the State will stem from the Strategic Development Plan (SDP). All investments that the State will finance will be drawn from the Strategic Development Plan (SDP). Therefore, the performance contract can only be signed with the State once ONAS, in particular, has adopted a Strategic Development Plan (SDP). Thus, the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) is an important governance tool. Furthermore, it allows us to benefit from State subsidies to finance our investment programs.
