[EXCLUSIF] Affaire Pape Cheikh Diallo : Enseignant, traiteur, vigile... la liste des arrestations s'allonge
As part of the execution of a judicial delegation issued by the investigating judge of the first chamber at the High Court of Pikine-Guédiawaye, the Research Brigade of the Keur Massar gendarmerie company yesterday crossed the threshold of 68 arrests in the Pape Cheikh Diallo case and associates.
According to exclusive information from Seneweb, plainclothes gendarmes arrested four suspects yesterday, Tuesday, all presumed partners of Ibrahima Magib Seck.
A teacher working at a private institute in Tivaouane-Peulh was the first person arrested. The investigation then led to the arrest of a security guard assigned to a school in the Point E district.
The gendarmes then went to Ouakam to pick up a caterer and take him to Keur Massar. The fourth suspect, active in the arts, was arrested in Guédiawaye. According to Seneweb sources close to the case, they all allegedly had romantic relationships with Ibrahima Magib Seck.
Furthermore, Chérif Aly Diatta, the second deputy mayor of Ouakam, responsible for arts, culture, leisure, and historical heritage, who was arrested last Monday by the Keur Massar Criminal Investigation Brigade and suspected of being in a relationship with Ibrahima Magib Seck and the singer Djiby Dramé, denied the allegations during his interrogation. However, investigators gathered serious and consistent evidence justifying his detention for conspiracy and acts against nature.
In total, the five most recent individuals arrested, including Chérif Aly Diatta, who were taken into custody, will be brought before the investigating judge of the first chamber next Thursday or Friday. The investigating judge of the first chamber and Prosecutor Saliou Dicko have been informed of the facts, as has the command of the national gendarmerie.
