Accident de la route à Louga : Un "jakartaman" succombe à ses blessures
A young motorcycle taxi driver named Mor Wade, in his twenties, succumbed to his injuries yesterday, Thursday, around 7 p.m., at the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye Hospital in Louga. He had been struck by a taxi the previous day, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, around 8 p.m. at the intersection located near the Mbanta Elementary School.
Seriously injured, he was evacuated to the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye regional hospital by firefighters.
According to our source, the accident was caused by a violation of the Highway Code. The taxi driver reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection where the collision occurred.
