A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody after being accused of sexually harassing a minor in the Sam Sam 1 district.

The events took place on Monday, November 17, 2025, in the Sam Sam 1 neighborhood of Diamaguène Sicap Mbao. On that day, OT Diallo was at his family home, chatting quietly with his mother, when the 14-year-old girl, F. Cissé, suddenly burst into the house, visibly distraught, according to Seneweb sources.

A few moments later, a man joined her inside the house. It was Mr. Sène, a 36-year-old cart driver, who was holding the teenager's veil in his hand.

Two contradictory versions

Faced with this unusual scene, the accused told OT Diallo that he had just offered the young girl 2000 CFA francs to have sexual relations with her.

But the victim's version of events is quite different. The teenager strongly denied these claims, explaining that Mr. Sène had tried to force her to have sex. According to her statements, he tore off her veil before chasing her, forcing her to flee and take refuge in the house.

A testimony that incriminates the suspect

The girl's accusations were corroborated by a key witness. Ms. FL Diallo, interviewed by investigators, confirmed that the cart driver had indeed torn off the teenager's veil, thus reinforcing the credibility of the victim's account.

Alerted by the seriousness of the facts, the driver OT Diallo immediately contacted the district police station of Diamaguène Sicap Mbao to report this case of sexual harassment.

When questioned by police, Mr. Sène attempted to deny the accusations against him. Despite his denials, he was taken into custody for sexual harassment. The public prosecutor's office was informed of the case, and an investigation was launched to shed light on this sordid affair involving a 14-year-old girl.
