Ils dressent un chien et reçoivent de l’ecstasy en paiement
In Saly Niakh Niakhal, a dog training incident turned into a drug bust. Three youths, B. Sow (trainer), F. Kane (dealer), and JP Ndiaye (breeder), were arrested for allegedly possessing and trafficking ecstasy.
The trio explained that after training a dog for a Gambian, the latter, instead of paying them the agreed 25,000 CFA francs, gave them a bag of ecstasy tablets, asking them to sell them to get their money back.
B. Sow then attempted to sell ten pills. But the police, informed of the transaction, mounted an undercover operation. He was caught red-handed at the meeting place in Saly Niakh Niakhal. A transport to his home allowed them to catch F. Kane and JP Ndiaye, who were found in possession of twenty other pills.
The three accused admitted the facts, while maintaining that they believed they were selling Viagra. The tablets were to be sold at 2,500 CFA francs each.
