Mbao : Un ouvrier interpellé par la police avec 2 kg de chanvre indien
The members of the research brigade of the Zac Mbao district police station arrested, on the evening of Sunday, March 8, 2026, an individual for alleged possession and trafficking of Indian hemp.
According to Seneweb sources, the events took place around 7 p.m., near the bridge leading to the TER station.
Police officers, who were on foot patrol in the area, spotted a man walking with a backpack. Upon seeing them, he fled.
After a chase, he was apprehended. He is PSN, 30 years old, a laborer residing in Bène Tally. A search of his backpack revealed two large packages of Indian hemp weighing 3 kg each, carefully wrapped in paper.
Taken to the police station, the suspect confessed to the crime. He stated that he had bought the cannabis at the Nguékhokh camp in order to resell it.
Having been informed, prosecutor Saliou Dicko ordered him to be taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation.
