Enceinte à 13 ans après avoir été droguée : son agresseur de 51 ans ose prétendre qu’elle était sa « copine »
Mr. Seck, a divorced father of six, is facing serious charges. In its Friday, May 8th edition, Libération reports that this 51-year-old craftsman was arrested by officers from the Nioro police station. He is being prosecuted for "pedophilia, repeated rape, kidnapping, abduction of a minor, and death threats."
The newspaper explains that the victim, D. Guèye, only 13 years old, went to the suspect's house daily to fetch water. Taking advantage of this proximity, Seck lured her into his room before drugging her by giving her a "cup of milk." Once the girl was "completely unconscious," he sexually abused her. To ensure her silence, the perpetrator made "death threats" against her should she speak out, creating a climate of terror that allowed him to "reoffend several times."
The case came to light when the child's guardian, D. Cissé, noticed "strange changes in the minor's physical appearance." When questioned, the victim eventually confessed to her ordeal, revealing that she was now pregnant.
When questioned by investigators, the newspaper reports, the man in his fifties "unabashedly admitted to the facts" and acknowledged fathering the child. However, in an attempt to justify the unjustifiable, he cynically claimed to investigators that the 13-year-old girl was his "girlfriend." Mr. Seck was ultimately brought before the prosecutor.
