Proxénétisme : "50 000 FCFA par jour", les aveux déroutants des trois mises en cause
In Thiès, a pimping case involving three women has been brought before the courts, highlighting an alleged network operating in an apartment located in the Parcelles Assainies district of the railway city.
S. Thioye (40 years old) and C. Diatara (29 years old) are being prosecuted for pimping, while N. Ndiaye (28 years old) is charged with clandestine prostitution.
Presented as the head of the network, S. Thioye contested some of the accusations, claiming that their arrest followed a complaint from neighbors hostile to their activities. She maintained that they all possessed valid health cards, but that these had been confiscated by the police during the raid.
In court, S. Thioye explained that they worked together and that their earnings could reach up to 50,000 FCFA per day, depending on customer traffic. These statements were confirmed by C. Diatara, who specified that she also acted as an intermediary, managing customer calls and scheduling appointments, for a daily commission of 5,000 FCFA.
The third woman involved, N. Ndiaye, stated that they lived together in the same apartment to carry out these activities.
The public prosecutor, considering the facts to be established, requested the application of the law. The case was adjourned for deliberation.
