Tabaski de sang à la cité Fadia : sous l'emprise de la drogue, il poignarde son frère en scandant « Sonko »
This Thursday, in the midst of the Tabaski celebrations, a particularly brutal scene of violence erupted in a second-floor apartment in the Fadia housing complex, in the Golf-Sud district. Around 1 p.m., the Golf-Sud district police station was alerted to a fight during which one of the participants, seriously injured, required urgent transport to the hospital.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found the walls and floors of the apartment covered in blood. The victim had already been taken by relatives to Dalal Jamm Hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care. He has been identified as K. Fall, a 51-year-old fishmonger.
Meanwhile, the assailant had barricaded himself in a room of the apartment, with all access points locked from the inside, in possession of several knives.
He refused to open the doors, vandalized the property, and loudly chanted "Sonko, Sonko." Given the threat he posed to himself and those around him, reinforcements from the Multipurpose Intervention Brigade (BIP) were immediately requested.
But before reinforcements arrived, the suspect attempted to climb the wall of the apartment, before tripping and falling.
Arrested on the spot in possession of five knives and taken to the police station, he was identified as Mr. Fall, aged 45, younger brother of the victim according to Seneweb sources.
According to statements from their older brother A.Fall, the accused M.Fall, under the influence of drugs, violently attacked K.Fall following an altercation over the consumption of offal and intestines in the living room.
While the victim was sleeping in her room, he surprised her before stabbing her several times.
According to the testimonies gathered, Mr. Fall does not reside in the apartment rented by his older brother and his family. He had gone there the day before solely to celebrate the Tabaski holiday with his family. Prosecutor Saliou Dicko has been informed of the facts.
