Thiaroye : Un trafiquant de drogue saute d'une terrasse pour échapper à la police et finit aux urgences
On Monday, November 3, 2025, around 8 p.m., an operation carried out by the research brigade of the Thiaroye district police station led to the arrest of a suspected member of a drug trafficking network.
Acting on a tip-off about a drug trafficking operation run by a man named Aldo and his gang on the rooftop of a two-story house in the Gouye Fatou Maïga neighborhood, investigators planned a raid. There, they apprehended CF Ba, born in 1986, a self-proclaimed bricklayer residing in Guédiawaye. He was found in possession of 125 grams of marijuana and a plastic bag containing eight packets of the same substance, hidden under a sofa.
Panicked at the sight of the police, the suspect tried to escape by jumping from the terrace into the yard of a neighboring house. Unfortunately for him, his fall resulted in a fracture of his right ankle, according to Seneweb sources.
He was quickly taken into care and transported to Pikine Hospital where he was admitted to the emergency room under police guard. The seized drugs were impounded at the police station for further processing.
