Trafic de drogue : la maquilleuse était une dealer, elle n’a pas vu venir l’agent infiltré
Presenting herself as a makeup artist, 23-year-old MA Ndiaye was arrested and brought before the prosecutor's office on charges of criminal conspiracy, drug possession, and trafficking. According to Libération, her arrest followed a tip-off by the Parcelles Assainies police, who identified her as a drug trafficker.
Approached by an undercover agent to buy a ball of MDMA for 50,000 CFA francs, she arranged a meeting in Almadies, where the transaction took place under surveillance.
She was then followed and arrested. The search of her studio led to the seizure of eight balls of MDMA sold at 50,000 CFA francs each, three pellets at 5,000 CFA francs each, a 1.5 kg bottle of nitrous oxide and nine small gas balloons.
When questioned by investigators, the young woman attempted to minimize her role by identifying a certain "Tapha" as her supplier, without however being able to provide more details about him, the same source added.
