USA : Nicki Minaj annule la sortie de son prochain album et indexe Jay-Z
Bad news for Nicki Minaj fans. The US rap superstar announced yesterday, Wednesday, on her X account that she was canceling the release of her next album, "Pink Friday 2," scheduled for March 2026.
"Okay, I'm not releasing the album anymore. No more music. I hope you're happy now @sc. Bye, Barbz. Love you forever," she wrote on the social network. @sc is Jay Z's handle.
“Seeing me win makes them feel like they lost.”
By mentioning him, she seems to be holding him responsible for the decision she made. In a previous post, Nicki Minaj had indicated that some people didn't want her to release music.
“Seeing me win makes them feel like I lost. They’re right. But it didn’t have to be this way. A lot of people split up in business. They know how big my next album was going to be. They tried to sign Wayne, Drake, and me,” the rapper wrote.
Recall that earlier this year, Nicki Minaj accused Jay-Z of owing her $200 million for his stake in Tidal, a music streaming platform.
