Cap Skirring : le mur de clôture de l’aéroport s’écroule
Cap Skirring airport is no longer watertight. Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds on Tuesday night caused the perimeter wall to collapse.
"Alerted in the early hours of the day, airport officials and security services went to the scene to carry out the usual assessments. Technical teams quickly assessed the extent of the damage and identified potential risks to the security of airport facilities," reports L'Observateur, which gave the information.
The newspaper of the Future Media Group indicates that "a temporary security system has been put in place by the detachment of internal security elements in order to prevent any intrusion or straying of animals within the airport premises."
Furthermore, the newspaper adds, "regular patrols are also organized to monitor the damaged perimeter."
Good news: "At this stage, no injuries or major incidents have been reported," the same source noted.
