Thiès : Un maçon casse le bras de son camarade à coups de pelle
Young KF now regrets having hosted and helped his friend SC find work.
The one he supported ended up causing him serious trouble.
Both masons, KF had the unpleasant surprise of seeing his friend break his arm with a shovel, following a simple argument.
The incident took place on a construction site in Thiès. While they were working together, an altercation broke out between the two men. In a fit of anger, SC grabbed a shovel and struck KF violently on the arm, causing a fracture.
Armed with a medical certificate, the victim filed a complaint against her attacker for assault and battery. SC was arrested and then placed in detention.
At the bar of the Thiès district court, the defendant admitted the facts and asked the victim for forgiveness.
Considering the facts established, the public prosecutor requested the application of the law.
The judge finally sentenced SC to three months suspended prison sentence.
