Tragic end. Brazilian nutritionist and influencer Diana Arêas was found dead Thursday in the common areas of her building in Campos, a few hours after leaving the hospital without authorization, reports the New York Post.
Emergency services were called to her apartment that morning, where they found her with lacerations all over her body before taking her to the hospital. Authorities confirmed that she "left without medical authorization" before her death was reported later that day.
"Rest in peace, my friend."
According to local news outlet J3News, police are reporting a fall from the roof of the building, stating that the investigation is ongoing and offering no further details at this time. On Instagram, where she had 200,000 followers, Diana shared fitness and nutrition tips to, as she wrote, "transform bodies and minds."
Under her last post, published five days before her death, tributes are pouring in: "I'm sorry, but we will no longer be able to enjoy your genius!" writes one internet user, while another confides: "Rest in peace, my friend."
