Un candidat d'un Koh-Lanta amputé d’une jambe lors d'un accident
A young participant in "Survivor Greece" was hit by a boat propeller during the filming of the show.
A tragic accident occurred during the filming of "Survivor Greece," a Greek version of the French "Koh-Lanta." A young participant was struck by a boat's propeller and lost part of a leg.
The production company indicated on Saturday that the accident occurred during a break off the coast of Saona Island in the Dominican Republic. Stavros Floros was offshore, diving "without a surface marker buoy," when he was accidentally struck by a tourist boat.
This 21-year-old man, reported "Le Parisien" on Monday, based on local sources, "suffered serious leg injuries due to the ship's engine propellers, including a partial amputation of his left leg and significant trauma to his right ankle."
Stavros Floros was hospitalized in what was described as serious condition, but his life is not in danger. He may be transferred to a specialized center in the United States.
Filming of the show was stopped and Dominican authorities opened an investigation.
