Adriana Karembeu accusée de “corruption de mineure” par son mari: le mannequin riposte
According to information from Le Parisien, Adriana Karembeu is the subject of a complaint filed with the Paris prosecutor's office by the father of her daughter. He accuses her of "corruption of a minor" and "incitement to drug use." Adriana Karembeu, for her part, denounces "incessant pressure" and "blackmail" from her former partner.
A bitter feud has erupted between Aram-André Ohanian and his wife, Adriana Karembeu. The couple is still officially married, but divorce proceedings are underway in Monaco. As reported by Le Parisien, custody of their eight-year-old daughter, Nina, is at the heart of this legal battle. Currently, the child lives most of the time with her father in Marrakech, Morocco.
According to French media reports, Adriana Karembeu is the subject of a complaint filed by Aram-André Ohanian, the father of her daughter Nina, for "corruption of a minor," "failure to fulfill parental obligations," and "incitement to drug use." At this stage, an investigation has been opened for "failure to fulfill parental obligations."
In the police report, the 57-year-old man claims that his eight-year-old daughter had access to “explicit pornographic” images on his tablet because it was synchronized with Adriana Karembeu’s phone. “This content was mixed with the minor’s personal photographs, blurring the lines between the world of childhood and adult sexuality,” explains Aram-André Ohanian’s lawyer, Najwa El-Haïté.
Nina's father also claims that his daughter stumbled upon sexually explicit messages exchanged between Adriana Karembeu and several men. Marc Lavoine, the model's current partner, is also named in the complaint. The girl reportedly discovered a message sent by the singer to his partner in which he allegedly stated: “Check carefully to see if the plastic bag of cocaine isn't on the shelf.”
“I warned Adriana more than two months ago that there was a problem with these photos, but she didn't react. Given what these photos and messages reveal, my priority now is that our daughter no longer has any contact with Marc Lavoine. But I am not driven by any spirit of revenge, contrary to what Adriana implies,” Aram-André Ohanian stated in the pages of Le Parisien.
In a statement sent to AFP, Adriana Karembeu's lawyer denounced Mr. Ohanian's "vile remarks" and accused him of wanting to "smear" the model "to obtain custody of their child."
"Adriana formally contests these unspeakable and harmful remarks to her minor daughter, the sole object of her unconditional love and priorities," explained lawyer Alain Toucas-Massillon.
For her part, Adriana Karembeu broke her silence on Instagram to denounce the “relentless pressure” and “repeated attempts at destabilization” by her ex-partner. “Nina has become the instrument and object of blackmail and negotiations as absurd as they are unbearable on the part of the man who is still my husband,” she wrote in her post.
The former supermodel also accuses her ex-partner of "verbal and physical abuse." "I even sometimes kept silent from my loved ones about the ordeals I went through: the injuries, the threats, the false and humiliating accusations, the verbal and physical violence. I hoped that time, distance, and reason would eventually calm the situation. Always in the best interest of my family," she says.
“Today, inspired by the courage of those who spoke out before me, I refuse to remain silent any longer. I fled from the violence, but it is catching up with me, just as I am trying to rebuild my life. I can no longer remain silent now that my daughter Nina has become the instrument of maneuvers and legal proceedings aimed at humiliating me, harming me, and attempting by any means necessary to deprive me of the custody I have shared until now,” adds Adriana Karembeu. She concludes by stating that she has filed a lawsuit.
When contacted by AFP, “Marc Lavoine refutes these accusations which are not based on any evidence,” his entourage indicated.
Through his lawyers, Najwa El Haïte and Jean-Laurent Abbou, Mr. Ohanian categorically denied having "used any violence, verbal or physical, nor committed any blackmail" and denounced the accusations as "false, slanderous and defamatory".
"Mr. Ohanian's sole priority is the protection of his daughter Nina, as well as the preservation of her psychological and emotional balance by guaranteeing the child a healthy, stable and secure living environment," they added.
