Le fils de Biden défie les fils de Trump dans un combat
In an already acrimonious political atmosphere, the sons of American presidents could face off in a duel: Hunter Biden, son of the former Democratic president, has said he is open to fighting the two sons of Donald Trump.
Joe Biden's 56-year-old son said Thursday he was "totally up for" a "cage fight" -- presumably MMA -- with Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., which would move the long-standing hostility between the two political families to the ring.
A left-leaning American influencer, Andrew Callaghan, "is trying to organize a cage fight, me against Eric and Don Jr., and I told him, 'I'm totally motivated' if he can organize that," Hunter Biden said in a video posted by Andrew Callaghan's network, Channel 5.
No details were given, and neither of Donald Trump's two sons, who are younger than Hunter, have reacted.
Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election against Donald Trump, who never ceased his virulent, personal attacks against the Democrat. The Republican billionaire had made Hunter Biden, whose past was riddled with addictions and dubious dealings, a prime target.
A hypothetical fight between the presidents' sons is reminiscent of the promise, ultimately aborted in 2023, of a similar fight between the two big bosses of American tech, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
Donald Trump, himself a fan of mixed martial arts (MMA), is organizing a fight on June 14, his birthday, at the White House.
