Chine : Un nouveau format des forces armées sera présenté au défilé du Jour de la victoire
The Chinese military parade on September 3 will mark a historic first with the unveiling of the armed forces' new structural format. The event, under the banner of loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party, will showcase the various branches of the People's Liberation Army and the latest reforms aimed at strengthening its effectiveness and unity.
“The Victory Day parade will showcase the military’s latest achievements in strengthening political loyalty and improving political work through rectification. The armed forces would remain unswervingly loyal to the Party’s core leadership and firmly protect and defend that core. They will remain a heroic army that the Party and the people can always rely on,” Wu Zeke, deputy director of the Military Parade Leading Group Office and a senior officer of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, said Wednesday, August 20, at a press conference on parade preparations in Beijing, China.
He added that this event will demonstrate the armed forces' firm commitment to following the command of the Chinese Communist Party and their loyalty to the Party's leadership.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army, according to Xinhua, comprises four branches of specialized military forces, namely the aerospace forces, cyberspace forces, information support forces and joint logistics support forces, in addition to four branches of the armed forces: land, maritime, air and missile forces.
