COP30 : Belém ouvre le débat sur la justice climatique et les financements
COP30, which opened on November 10, 2025, in Belém, Brazil, placed Africa at the heart of discussions on climate change. The continent, although responsible for less than 4% of global emissions, suffers disproportionate impacts. African leaders emphasized the need for a just energy transition and ambitious financing for adaptation and resilience.
Current pledges, estimated at around $300 billion for adaptation, fall far short of the $1.3 trillion needed, as assessed by experts and NGOs. This figure illustrates a structural deficit in international support, but these are not yet official commitments adopted in Belém.
The conference also highlighted the protection of tropical forests with the announcement of the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF), a Brazilian mechanism designed to compensate countries that preserve their forest cover. The initiative, still in its launch phase, raises questions about its economic viability and the governance of the funds, but reflects a commitment to placing equity and ecological preservation at the heart of the negotiations.
Current discussions emphasize the need to strengthen North-South and intra-African cooperation, accelerate investments in renewable energy, and link climate adaptation with sustainable industrialization. The success of these commitments will depend on the ability of African countries to combine energy sovereignty, social justice, and a sustainable development strategy within a still uncertain global context.

Une majorité d'hommes qui, si on leur demande ce qu'ils ont réalisés pour ameliorer le mondr jusqu'à present te diront "nous avons ratifié, nous avons signé..." mais dans le concret rien n'est appliqué.
elon musk a tjrs eu raison lorsqu'il a lancé le defi aux soi disant ong en leur disant dites moi le montant total pour eradiquer la famine dans le monde. Et elles etaient toutes incapables car elles savent bien que la majorté de leur budget voté annuellement ne part que dans des frais de fonctionnement et non dans le but de leur existence.
