Affaire Epstein: Une pièce du tissu de la Kaaba aurait été envoyée à l’homme d’affaires
The Epstein affair, the scandal involving the American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and several powerful figures, continues to provoke outrage.
According to archives dating from 2017 and relayed by the British media "Middle East Eye", fragments of the kiswa (black cloth that wraps the Kaaba in Mecca) were sent to Jeffrey Epstein.
In an email exchange, a Saudi citizen named Aziza El Ahmadi emphasized the inestimable spiritual value of the kiswa. "A fabric that carries the prayers, the tears, the hopes of more than 10 million Muslims who have touched it during the tawaf (7 circumambulations of the Kaaba)," she explained to him.
This discovery has sparked profound outrage among Muslims. Indeed, on social media, many are questioning how objects of such sacred significance could have become part of a criminal's network of influence.
In any case, the shadow of Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, seems to touch even the most sacred things.
