États-Unis: deux militaires de la Garde nationale touchés par des tirs près de la Maison Blanche
Two National Guard members were shot in Washington on Wednesday, November 26, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on X, in what the White House described as a "tragic situation." AFP journalists saw a person in military uniform being carried away on a stretcher two blocks from the White House. Three people with gunshot wounds were treated by paramedics, emergency services told AFP. "The White House is aware of and monitoring this tragic situation, and the president is being kept informed," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters. Shortly afterward, police announced the arrest of one person.
