In Germany, Thomas H., a former army captain sentenced in 2024 to three and a half years in prison for aggravated espionage on behalf of Russia, has filed a lawsuit against his early release. An unresolved health insurance issue

He intends to first take out insurance before submitting a new request to suspend the remainder of his sentence. It should be noted that the information the former soldier transmitted to Russian representations in Germany was intended for "Russian intelligence services."
