Iran airstrikes: International Atomic Energy Agency calls for "restraint"

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Saturday called for "restraint" in order to "avoid any risk to the nuclear security of populations" in the Middle East, in the context of the strikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran and the Iranian response.

"The IAEA is in constant contact with the countries of the region," the UN agency responsible for promoting the peaceful use of nuclear energy told X, adding that "no radiological impact has been observed to date."
