NASA unveiled on Friday the first images of Earth taken during the Artemis 2 mission, which carried four astronauts. Captured from space and published on X, these images show the planet as it appears beyond Earth's orbit, in conditions similar to those of future lunar missions.

Beyond their visual appeal, these images are part of a technical validation phase. They allow us to confirm the proper functioning of the embedded systems, particularly in terms of navigation and data transmission over long distances.
Astronauts will soon return to the Moon
With this publication, NASA concretely documents the progress of the Artemis 2 program, whose objective remains the return of astronauts to the Moon in the coming years.
