Iran on Saturday condemned new US strikes overnight against radar and coastal surveillance facilities in the Gulf, which Tehran said constituted a "flagrant violation of the ceasefire" in force with the United States since April 8.

This constitutes "a military aggression against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the Foreign Ministry added in a statement, condemning "the hostile and provocative behavior of the American regime."
