Londres : Un chauffeur de bus se fait virer pour avoir porté le maillot de Liverpool pendant son service

A young bus driver has been fired in London after being surrounded while on duty by Chelsea fans while he was wearing a Liverpool shirt.

Is this unfair dismissal? A 21-year-old London bus driver was fired on Monday after his attire caused disruption on a bus route on a working day, the Daily Mail reports.

Last Saturday, Liverpool faced Chelsea in the Premier League. The driver, a huge Liverpool fan, decided to wear his Reds jersey to work that day. But his route unfortunately took him near Stamford Bridge, where the match had just ended in a 2-1 victory for Chelsea.

Fired after incident

Seeing the driver and his kit, several Chelsea fans approached the bus and surrounded it, chanting their team's name. A video of the scene went viral on social media. "If you see it, it looks funny, but it was scary," the young man said afterward. "They were sliding my window open, and I had to hold it shut. They literally surrounded the bus."

The police eventually dispersed the supporters, and the bus returned to the depot. It was only this Monday morning that the young driver learned via email that he had been dismissed with immediate effect. In the email, management stated that his behavior had caused "significant disruption and delays."

Shocked by this decision, the young man does not intend to stop there. He insists that he did not choose this jersey on purpose and, above all, that he was unaware that his route that day would take him past the stadium. "No one had a problem with my outfit," he added. "No one asked me to cover it up."
