Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have apparently ended their relationship – and according to inside sources, the breakup is due to a recurring problem: trust.

According to sources cited by Us Magazine, allegedly close to the matter, the Grammy Award-winning rapper reportedly ended their relationship just days before the Super Bowl, where Diggs and the New England Patriots lost. While the timing was surprising, people familiar with the breakup say the problems had been brewing for months.

"He's betrayed her so many times," a source close to the couple confided, adding that their relationship was already tumultuous long before the championship weekend. Friends of the 33-year-old artist reportedly encouraged her to reconsider the romance, believing she deserved better.
