Actor Peter Greene, who died last December at the age of 60, died from an accidental gunshot wound, the New York City Medical Examiner's Office revealed Wednesday.
A tragic end. Two months after his death, the cause of death for actor Peter Greene was revealed Wednesday, February 18, by the New York City Medical Examiner's Office. The actor, whose death was ruled "accidental," succumbed to a "gunshot wound to the left armpit with injury to the brachial artery," People magazine reported.
An accident that caused a hemorrhage that cost the actor his life, aged only 60. "The bullet entered his left armpit and caused a major hemorrhage after damaging the artery supplying his arm, elbow, forearm and hand," Variety noted.
As a reminder, it was a neighbor who, after hearing music coming from his home for several days without interruption, called the police. The American actor was then found dead by law enforcement in his New York apartment on December 12th.
Peter Greene had notably made his mark on cinema with his roles as the great villain in "The Mask" and "Pulp Fiction".
