Qatar: des drones iraniens visent une centrale électrique et un complexe gazier
Two Iranian drones targeted a power plant and a land-based gas processing complex in Qatar on Monday, according to the Gulf state's defense ministry.
A drone targeted a water reservoir belonging to a power station in Mesaieed, also a key base for natural gas production, 40 km south of Doha.
Another attack "targeted an energy facility in the industrial city of Ras Laffan, belonging to QatarEnergy", 80 km north of the capital, a statement from the ministry said.
The wealthy emirate is one of the world's largest producers of liquefied natural gas (LNG), alongside the United States, Australia and Russia.
Qatar shares the world's largest natural gas reservoir with Iran. QatarEnergy, its state-owned company, estimates that the Qatari portion, the North Field, contains approximately 10% of the world's known natural gas reserves.
