La Russie condamne l'attaque terroriste visant l’aéroport de Niamey.
The Russian Federation strongly condemned, in a statement published on February 2, 2026, the terrorist attack targeting Diori Hamani International Airport and Air Base 101 in Niamey.
According to Moscow, the attack was carried out by an armed group of about 40 fighters and claimed by the Islamic State organization active in the Sahara-Sahel region.
Moscow finally reaffirms its determination to strengthen its security cooperation with the ESA states, particularly through operational support, training of armed forces and the fight against terrorism.
