Super Bowl: Trump qualifie le spectacle de Bad Bunny d'"affront à la grandeur de l'Amérique"
Donald Trump on Sunday called the halftime Super Bowl concert by Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny "an affront to America's greatness," even though the singer had avoided mentioning the US president or his immigration policy during his performance.
"Nobody understands a word this guy is saying," the US president wrote on his Truth Social network, a few minutes after the end of the show, Bad Bunny singing and speaking almost exclusively in Spanish, spoken by more than 41 million people in the United States, according to official figures.
"The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely appalling, one of the worst ever! It's absurd, an affront to the greatness of America, and it does not reflect our values of achievement, creativity, and excellence," wrote Donald Trump, who also felt that the artist's choreography was "disgusting, especially for young children watching the show from all over the United States and the world."
"This 'spectacle' is a real slap in the face for our country (...) and yet it will receive excellent reviews from the media that spread fake news, because they have no idea what is happening in the real world," the American president added.
Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny, performed at the Super Bowl one week after winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
After his performance alongside artists like Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, the Puerto Rican singer, dressed all in white, carried an oval balloon with the words: "Together, we are America".
At the end of the concert, flags from across the American continent were unfurled on stage while the following message appeared on the giant screen in the Santa Clara stadium: "only love is stronger than hate".
