In the United States, Michael Jackson's co-executor, John McCain, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, following a household accident, according to TMZ. He had been airlifted by medical helicopter from Malibu to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was receiving treatment.

The music producer had broken his arm after a fall at his home in Malibu. Death did not spare him. According to TMZ, he died from complications related to the fall. He was 71 years old.

John Branca, the other co-executor of the pop star's estate, paid tribute to the deceased, describing him as "one of the greatest innovators in the world of music and music marketing." He praised his passion, conviction, and dedication to Michael Jackson's legacy.
Branca and McClain were named joint executors of MJ's will in 2009 after his death.
Together, they transformed this inheritance into a multi-billion dollar empire.
