Situation hydrologique du fleuve Sénégal à Podor : la montée se poursuit
This Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 8 a.m., the level of the Senegal River measured at the Quai Elhadj Boubou Sall in Podor reached 5.60 meters, compared to 5.58 meters the previous day at the same time. An increase of 2 centimeters in 24 hours, confirming the upward trend observed in recent days.
For comparison, the level recorded at the same time in 2024 was 5.54 meters, 6 centimeters less than this year.
Important reminder: the alert level set at 5 meters for Podor was crossed since September 14, 2025.
Faced with this development, the authorities and the population are called upon to remain vigilant.
